Sodium benzenesulfinate (CAS 80-76-2) is an inorganic sulfinate salt used primarily as a reducing agent and intermediate. Produced via the reduction of benzenesulfonyl chloride or oxidation of thiophenol, its molecular formula is C6H5NaO2S.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from oxidizers. Use appropriate PPE to prevent skin contact; avoid inhalation of dust. Not intended for direct clinical administration.
