Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose is made from cotton linter, it’s a good additive for the manufacture of adhesives and mortars, mainly used in construction (dry mixed mortar, tile adhesive, plaster, EIFS), coating and detergent industry etc. Provides retention of water and the cohesion of the mixtures, help to apply construction materials easier and better performance.
Industrial grade HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose) is a non-ionic semi-synthetic polymer derived from cellulose via etherification. It functions as a thickener, binder, and film former produced through controlled substitution of methyl and hydroxypropyl groups.
Avoid inhalation of dust; use appropriate respiratory protection during handling. Store in cool, dry conditions below 25°C to prevent clumping or microbial degradation. Not suitable for direct injection or intravenous applications.
