About The Detailed Introduction Of Tangerine Peel Extract?

Tangerine peel extract is the dried and mature peel extract of the Rutaceae plant Citrus reticulata Blanco and its cultivated varieties. It mainly contains volatile oils, flavonoids and other active ingredients. Tangerine peel extract can promote humoral immunity and cellular immunity, and has an obvious effect of scavenging oxygen free radicals. It has anti-aging and anti-fatigue effects. It also has the effects of lowering cholesterol, inhibiting experimental ulcers, reducing capillary permeability, enhancing fibrin dissolution, anti-thrombosis, regulating gastrointestinal function and choleretic effects.
Evergreen small tree or shrub, 3-4m tall. Leaves are alternate, single and compound; leaves are lanceolate or oval, 4-11cm long, 1.5-4cm wide, apex acuminate, entire or wavy, bluntly serrated, semi-leafed. Transparent oil spots. Flowers are solitary or several at branch tips and leaf axils, white or light red; calyx is cup-shaped, petals are 5, oblong; stamens are 15-25; pistil is 1. 1. Flavonoids
As a major category of physiologically active components of tangerine peel, many types of flavonoids have been isolated and identified, mainly including flavones, flavanones, hesperidin, nobiletin, neohesperidin, naringin, and rue pomelo peel. Glycosides, and polymethoxyflavonoids, etc.
2. Volatile Oils
The volatile oil content of tangerine peel is 1.5% to 2%. The main components of the oil are α-Thujene (α-Thujene), α-Pinene (α-Pinene), β-pinene, and β-myrcene (β-Myrcene). , Octanal, limonene, Terpineol-4, Citronellol, carvacrol, octanol, etc.
3. Limonoids

1. Effect On Cardiovascular System

Chenpi not only inhibits the increase in serum bilirubin concentration caused by ANIT, but also inhibits the release of intrahepatic enzymes that are parameters of liver parenchymal damage. Subcutaneous injection of methylhesperidin 100 or 500mg/kg into anesthetized rats can increase the excretion of bile and solid substances in bile. Combined use of vitamin C and vitamin K4 can enhance the choleretic effect. Limonene has an ideal stone-dissolving effect on cholesterol stones. Chenpi has the effect of relaxing the gallbladder.
3. Expectorant And Antiasthmatic Effects

Both hesperidin and methylhesperidin have vitamin P-like effects.
